    Hello, wonderful Alsaciens!

I’ve wandered onto your forum to learn more about your club and, at the same time, introduce you to Brøndby IF – the club I passionately support.

I’m a dedicated Brøndby IF fan and have created an account here so we can share football culture across borders. You are more than welcome to ask questions about the club, players, fan culture, or Danish football in general.

A brief introduction to Brøndby IF:

Founded: 1964, on the outskirts of Copenhagen.
    Colors: Yellow and blue.
    Nickname: “Drengene fra Vestegnen"

    Major achievements in Denmark:
11 Danish championships (most recently in 2020/21, ending a 16-year wait).
    7 Danish Cup titles.

Fans: Our “Sydsiden” (SouthSide) section is known as one of the most passionate and organized fan bases in Scandinavia and we are very proud about our fanscene. We travel everywhere to watch our heroes on aways and Strasbourg will not be an exception.

This is a short video from Sydsiden at our first match of the season.

Impossible d'afficher la vidéo youtube https://youtu.be/6QbmK83WoXo

    The club today:
Brøndby is in a rebuilding phase, combining experienced players with young talents from our academy. The ambitions remain high: competing at the top of the Danish Superliga, qualifying for European competitions, and nurturing one of Scandinavia’s most passionate fan cultures.

Key players: Nicolai Vallys, Daniel Wass and Noah Nartey.

I look forward to learning more about your club, your history, and your memorable moments. Perhaps we can get to know each other better, both on and off the pitch!

    Hello, beautiful danisch!

Thank you for your kind message and I suppose that "the wonderful alsacien" is me, so I thank you and I answer to you. But, please, don't believe me.

    A brief introduction to RCSA:

Founded: 2023 when Blueco came to save us from poverty
    Colors: All
Nickname: Chelsea brother or the blueco globe trotters

    Major achievements in France:
7th place next year but now we are going to crush little Europe

    Fans: On strike

    The club today:
Strasbourg is the little brother of Chelsea and we are locking for nuggets. Not chicken nuggets but young nuggets from all around the world.

Key players: Don't know it changes to fast

Sorry for my answers but you've to know that I've lot of consideration for Danemark and its people. Like Eric Cantona, a french poete said : "I love you, I don't know why but I love you".

You were exactly the one I had in mind, so it was good that you showed up.

BlueCo Globe Troppers isn’t a completely bad name, but I still prefer your original football name and football history.

We are now part of Global Football Holding (GFH), our new owners, and through them also connected with clubs like ADO Den Haag (Netherlands), Waasland-Beveren (Belgium), AD Alcorcón (Spain), Estoril (Portugal), Augsburg (Germany), Real Salt Lake (USA) and Crystal Palace (England). So I truly understand your frustration.

    Your answers are absolutely accepted.
THank you for your comprehension, @Brondby.

I didn't know that you're club was also a part of an other multi-owner.

But I truly can say that I am happy that Strasburg play against Brondby because Brondby, for me, who was 20 years old in the 90s, evokes a European club that existed on the scale of European competitions. If we were to lose, I would prefer to tell myself that at least I would have seen brondby rather of an unknown club.

An other veteran's memory is a Danemark-Belgium in Stade de la Meinau during the european champion'ship 1984. And I can remember how the danish were kind, respectful and festive. Some values that are gradually disappearing in certain countries, but that is an other storie.

So, welcome in Alsace, Brondby. :)
  • I've seen videos of Brondby fans. Some seem violent.
    Will hooligans make the trip?

I hope not, but we do have a small core of people who behave like Vikings. I guess morality among football fans is declining. But I believe it will be a good day for both groups of supporters.

Do you also have fans who want to fight, and is hooliganism a big issue in French football?

  • What a great day for both of our clubs. Both got a victory and a clean sheet.

We played very well today, the best in perhaps 2 years. We totally crushed our opponents Randers FC on the pitch and on the stands, just look at it - beautifull! We're now on top of the table together with our biggest rivals from fc copenhagen.

We rested a few of our key players until Thursday (although they did get a few minutes at the end of the match). Our expectations are sky-high now, and we actually believe we can win in Strasbourg.

    Highlights from our latest game.

  • Is it supposed to make an impression ? I have checked the highlights and if it is your strongest performance in two years, we don t have much to worry about. Especially if it was without your so-called key players…

You scored twice out of few opportunities overall, while your keeper secured a good performance to get a clean sheet.

Guess what, we also are on top of the table for now. After one or a few games it really does not mean much.

Anyway, our team really is next level compared to what you faced this week-end (such a bad defending on the first goal…). Good luck with your expectations, hopefully you will return home with the same result you got in Iceland.
  • c'est quoi cette condescendance? #-o
  • It seems @falcon is still learning how to build emotional intelligence and have goodhearted discussions with a friendly foreign fan who came here respectfully to exchange perspectives on the upcoming game.

    Please forgive him [-o
  • @falcon un peu d'humilité n'a jamais fait de mal, bien au contraire...c'est pas toi qui parlait de "valeurs" sur le topic concernant Doukouré ? =;

Someone didn't watch the game yesterday obv. We played very poorly and were FAR from crushing Metz (which played in Ligue 2 last year, just sayin).

So no, I'm not that confident.

And also your post reeks with condescendence. Apologies to our danish friend (thanks for posting here btw :) )
  • I think that @falcon took the hint, no need to push more.

BTW @brondby if you believe that a message is aggressive/rude/discriminatory you have the option to "signaler". That will flag me said message.

Hi good luck for Thursday, can you tell us about your players who is the best player of your team, in France we know Daniel Wass good player, but what about the others.
I am more worried about the match in Brondby. We have good player but very young
